Kodak Black - whose real name is Bill Kapri - facing new charges in Broward County of attempting to elude police and resisting an officer without violence.
"Defendant was pulled over initially, failed to stop, and ended up getting into another vehicle and taking off," said the prosecutor.
Kapri's attorney is questioning the charge.
"I believe that there was no righteous sirens. There was no over the intercom telling Mr. Kapri to stop. Mr. Kapri did not engage in any excessive speeds," Kapri's attorney said in court Friday.
Acknowledging Kapri's history or arrests - including earlier this month in Orlando for allegedly trafficking MDMA - the judge sent a standard bond of $3,500 with an order to have no guns, ammo or other weapons.
