Two Miami residents are suing to stop the Trump presidential library from being built on waterfront property downtown. Attorney Gerald Greenberg says the residents claim state officials transferred the property to the president in violation of a constitutional clause stating presidents cannot accept gifts they benefit from financially. He says the President has already unveiled a video showing he plans to build a hotel on the property for profit. Defendants in the suit include President Trump, his library fund and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
