Man Fires At Driver During Road Rage Incident In Pembroke Park

Pembroke Park, FL - A Miami man is facing felony charges after allegedly firing a gun at a driver who rear-ended him in Pembroke Park.

According to police, 41-year-old Rachad Wildgoose allegedly opened fire on another driver following a minor collision.

The incident began on West Hallandale Beach Boulevard when the victim, driving a Mercedes-Benz, rear-ended Wildgoose's Audi.

Police say that when both vehicles stopped near the Interstate 95 overpass, Wildgoose allegedly threatened the other driver with a gun, ordering him back into his car.

Fearing for his safety, the victim complied; however, Wildgoose allegedly fired a single shot, shattering the driver's side window of the Mercedes-Benz.

Terrified, the victim fled the scene with Wildgoose in pursuit.

A high-speed chase ensued, ending in Golden Beach on Ocean Boulevard, where police apprehended Wildgoose.

Wildgoose reportedly claimed the victim reached for a weapon, justifying his use of force.

However, police found no evidence to support his claims.

Wildgoose faces charges of discharging a firearm from a vehicle, propelling a missile into a dwelling or vehicle (the car), and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He was released on a $32,500 bond, however, a Broward County judge has ordered him to be subjected to electronic monitoring, ordered him to surrender all firearms, and prohibited him from driving or contacting the victim.
