(Midland, TX) - Florida Governor Ron DeSantis unveiled his energy plan today in oil-rich Texas vowing to bring Americans relief at the pump with $2 gas.
DeSantis says he will unravel the Biden Administration's fossil fuel-killing policies and return the US to energy independence.
"People are hurting," DeSantis said of Biden's policies. "His policies are driving your grocery bills to be more expensive, your gas going up."
DeSantis hopes his energy pitch appeals to Republicans in advance of the Iowa caucuses.
DeSantis is the closest challenger to former President Donald Trump who is set to deliver remarks this afternoon at Team Trump Iowa Commit to Caucus event.
