4th St. Bridge to Close

Heads-up for drivers in St. Petersburg.

Starting today, the Florida Dept. of Transportation will close the northernmost section of 4th Street North to remove and replace the bridge just south of I-275.

4th St. is closing at 119th Ave. North. A detour has been set up. Motorists who normally use 4th St. N to connect to the Howard Frankland Bridge to Tampa will now have to take Roosevelt Blvd to the I-275 NB entrance ramp.

The project is expected to be finished in early 2024.
