Robert Kraft Must Appear In Court For Prostitution Case Hearing

Super Bowl LIII Pregame

A judge has ordered New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to appear at the next court hearing in his prostitution case.

The hearing, set for May 21st, is when the judge will determine if both sides are ready to go to trial.

Nearly three days of hearings in Kraft's bid to get video thrown out as evidence came to an end on Wednesday.

That video allegedly shows the team owner and 24 other men pay for sex acts at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter. A woman charged in the case as the operator of the business is also fighting to get rid of the video.

Meanwhile, Kraft's attorneys received what could be good news for them. A judge in nearby Martin County ruled that video in four cases involving two massage parlors there will be thrown out.

The reason: The same thing that Kraft's attorneys claim...that the surveillance was done improperly, capturing customers getting undressed for legal massages.

The judge in the Kraft case said he'll rule on the motion to suppress that video at a later date.
