Billy Joel fans who tuned into CBS on Sunday night to see his 100th concert at Madison Square Garden were not happy. The broadcast of Joel's performance in primetime was running behind because of the network's coverage of the Masters tournament. That resulted in CBS cutting off the concert at a very inopportune time, with an abrupt shift to local news. CBS is apologizing for the snafu, blaming it on a "programming timing error," and will rebroadcast the entire Billy Joel special on Friday night at 9 p.m. If you can't wait, the show can also be streamed now on Paramount-Plus.

A couple who gained fame on reality TV are hoping for a second chance in court. Todd and Julie Chrisley's tax evasion case goes to a federal appeals court this week. In 2022, a jury found the "Chrisley Knows Best" stars guilty of defrauding banks out of more than 30-million dollars. A judge sentenced Todd to 12 years in prison and Julie to seven years. They filed appeals requesting new trials and are requesting to be released on bond in the meantime.

Three new species of ancient kangaroo have been identified by a research group from a university in Australia. The research identifies kangaroos that lived between five million and 40-thousand years ago. The heaviest weighed up to 375 pounds, twice as heavy as today's largest kangaroos. And, at their tallest, the ancient kangaroos would have been six-and-a-half feet tall.

Country star Jelly Roll is being sued for trademark infringement. A Pennsylvania-based dance band says they've used the name, Jellyroll, since 1980 and trademarked it in 2010. The band alleges Jelly Roll's recent rise to fame has hurt their online exposure and sent the star a cease-and-desist order in February. It's seeking injunctive relief for unfair competition and injury to business reputation, among other things. Jelly Roll, real name Jason Bradley DeFord, has not commented publicly on the suit.
