Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont has won a friendly bet with Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb following UConn's victory over Purdue in the NCAA men's championship game. In case you missed it, it was the Huskies over the Boilermakers, 75 to 60. Lamont's win brings him the Indiana package of Triple X root beer, sugar cream pie and a pork tenderloin from the Harry's Chocolate Shop restaurant. The governor had offered a similar package from Connecticut, which consisted of pizza, beer from Athletic Brewing Company and Munson's chocolates.

If you were watching yesterday's solar eclipse, you weren't alone. Captain Kirk of Star Trek TV and movie game himself viewed the eclipse at Indiana University. And William Shatner said said he was awed by the cosmic scale of the event. Shatner has long been interested in astronomy, having famously traveled to the edge of our atmosphere in Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin spaceship.
