Neil Young is making his return to Spotify. He left the streaming service in protest back in 2022 because of COVID misinformation on "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast on Spotify. Yesterday, Young said he was returning to Spotify because "Apple and Amazon have started serving the same disinformation podcast features." He also urged Spotify to introduce high-resolution audio, so fans could hear--quote--"the full sound we created."

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld has been named as this year's commencement speaker at Duke University. Seinfeld, who has been doing stand-up for nearly 50 years and whose 90's sitcom is streaming on Netflix, will take the podium on May 12th. Duke University President Vincent Price--Vincent Price? Really?-- says he's delighted that Jerry Seinfeld will speak and looks forward to his insights and wisdom.

The new chief of police in New Orleans is painting a bleak picture of the department's headquarters. Chief Anne Kirkpatrick says rats have invaded the evidence room and have eaten all the marijuana. She told City Council that on a visit she noticed the rodents all seemed to be high. New Orleans Police leadership is pleading for funding to move the department to a new location. One idea: several floors of a highrise across from the Caesars Superdome.

Beyonce's upcoming country album now has a full title. Previously known simply as "Act II [[ Two ]]," the singer revealed it will be titled "Cowboy Carter." Beyonce released the first two songs -- "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages" -- after announcing she had new music coming with a Super Bowl commercial. "Texas Hold 'Em" topped both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts. "Cowboy Carter" is set to drop on March 29th.

Fans of a certain superhero will have to wait a bit longer for his next big screen adventure. "The Batman: Part 2" is being delayed. The film was set to release on October 3rd of next year but now has been bumped to October 2nd of 2026. The sequel will again star Robert Pattinson as the title character. Maggie Gyllenhaal's "The Bride" will take "Batman 2's" release date in 2025.

They're getting the band back together. Now being filmed in New Orleans is the sequel to "This Is Spinal Tap". According to Castle Rock Entertainment, "Spinal Tap Two" will see Rob Reiner, Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer reprising their iconic roles. There's also a star-studded list of cameos including Elton John, Paul McCartney, Questlove, and Garth Brooks. Reiner said the film's plot has the characters reband to fulfill a contractual obligation with their late manager. The release date for "Spinal Tap Two" hasn't be announced.
