We've lost another great voice of rock and roll. Eric Carmen burst onto the scene in the 1970s as lead singer of The Raspberries, with hits like "Go All The Way," "I Wanna Be With You" and "Overnight Sensation." Carmen went on to a successful solo career with more hits, including "Hungry Eyes" from the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack and the classic "All By Myself." Eric Carmen's wife Amy broke the news of his death on the singer's website, saying he passed away in his sleep over the weekend. An official cause of death is unknown. Eric Carmen was just 74.
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee--"the Greatest" is being honored by WWE. Muhammad Ali will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next month. The late boxing legend made multiple appearances at WWE events throughout his storied career. Most notably, he was the special guest referee for the tag team match that saw Hulk Hogan and Mr. T take on Rowdy Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff at the first WrestleMania in 1985. Ali will be part of the class inducted on April 5th during WrestleMania 40 weekend in Philadelphia.

A Long Island bakery is accused of passing off a national chain's doughnuts as vegan- and possibly putting their customers at risk while doing so. State and county inspectors are now investigating Savory Fig, after a customer posted photos of the vegan and gluten-free doughnuts she got from them. At least one of the doughnuts appeared to have "D" shaped sprinkles on them - just like Dunkin' doughnuts do. And if that doughnut did come from Dunkin', it contains both wheat and dairy - which could pose a risk to some vegan and gluten-free customers.
Some of music's biggest names will honor a Florida legend next month. Paul McCartney and the Eagles will headline "Keep The Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett" on April 11th at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Other performers include Eric Church, Brandi Carlile, Jon Bon Jovi and Kenny Chesney. Buffett's touring and recording band, the Coral Reefer Band, will also take part in the all-star concert. Ticket presales start tomorrow followed by a general on-sale on Friday.
Two Texas men are facing charges after allegedly stealing a whole lot of calculators from several stores in Minnesota. The value of the stolen calculators was around 20-thousand dollars. Investigators believe the men are part of a larger theft ring in Texas that may have stolen 25-million dollars in calculators nationwide. If convicted, the men could face up to ten years in prison
A controversial public toilet with a one-point-seven million dollar price tag has been delivered to its resting place in San Francisco. After multiple setbacks and public outcry about the cost of the single-stall modular facility, it was offloaded yesterday in Noe Valley [[ NOH-ee VAL-ee ]]. It will be installed soon. After coming under fire for the cost, city officials changed their minds about purchasing the toilet. But two outside vendors offered to cover the expense, and now it is being installed at no cost to the city.
