Desantis doubles down on liberal media machine after 60 Minutes smeared him Sunday night. Aside from Trump, I've never seen a top government official stand up to the media like Desantis is right now after the 60 Minutes report. We'll hear the latest from the Governor, and debate whether this approach will help or hurt his re-election bid and chances of becoming President.
Personally, I like Desantis' refusal to be intimated or to knuckle under to the left leaning media...from 60 Minutes to the Orlando Sentinel...trying to take him down! He's as tough as Trump, and I think his style in handling the media is at least as effective...maybe even better! I think this will serve him well...along with the terrific job he's doing as Governor. What do you and our listeners think?
A new Gallup poll shows more and more voters now identifying as Democrats. The gap over those identifying as Republicans is up to 9 points. We'll debate what's driving this trend and what the GOP can do about it. I think a lot of it has to with the Democrats being in power and able to dole out the goodies, the pandemic easing as Biden, (working with the Trump vaccines), has done well with the rollout...and because of the left leaning media flooding the news with positive reports on the Biden administration whether they deserve it or not. How do you and our listeners account for the Democrats growing appeal?
The L.A. County Sheriff's office held a news conference today to reveal their findings on Tiger's car wreck. We touched on this briefly this morning, but a lot more came out today. They blame the accident on excessive speed.. period. No impairment, no sign of drugs or alcohol. Do you and our listeners buy it? I still have questions....he was doing 87 MPH ion a 45. Why no reckless driving charge. I'll quote the statute on that. Why wasn't Tiger's phone checked to see if he was on it, and thus distracted, when the crash happened? Cops think Tiger went for the brake pedal but pushed down on the accelerator instead,,, and has the gas pedal down throughout the crash. The only time I can recall that sort of thing in the news, it's involved elderly, confused drivers...not a 45 year old world class athlete. As I say, I have questions....do you?
