Miami Beach, FL - A Miami Beach resident identified as 29-year-old Noah Aloush was arrested Monday after allegedly hitting a police officer with an electric scooter and fleeing from the scene.

According to an arrest report, Aloush, who is known on social media as “Nomadic Noah,” faces multiple charges including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, fleeing and eluding, resisting an officer without violence, and failure to obey a police officer.

Miami Beach Police said officers first spotted Aloush operating an electric scooter recklessly along the beachwalk and attempted to stop him.

Investigators said Aloush allegedly struck Officer Julio Blanco with the scooter, causing the officer to fall and sustain injuries.

Aloush then fled at high speed through sidewalks and streets, at times riding against traffic and weaving between cars, the report stated.

Officers pursued Aloush until he reached a dead end and lost control of the scooter.

Police said he resisted arrest, prompting officers to use a stun gun multiple times before taking him into custody.

Both Aloush and Officer Blanco were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

At his court appearance on Tuesday, Aloush told the judge he is a graduate student at the University of Miami.

Officer Blanco requested a higher bond, expressing concern that Aloush could be a flight risk due to his “Nomadic Noah” online persona.

A judge set bond at $20,500.
