Orlando, FL - A 28-year-old man was found dead at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Florida, marking the third guest death at Walt Disney World this month.

Authorities identified the man as Matthew Cohn, whose death was ruled a suicide by the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office, with the cause listed as multiple traumatic injuries.

Law enforcement responded to the scene at Bay Lake Tower, an area connected to the main Contemporary Resort.

Witnesses reported a large police and emergency presence, with parts of the resort blocked off to maintain privacy during the investigation.

Guests staying at the hotel said staff members asked them to avoid looking out their windows as officials worked in the area.

Cohn, who had reportedly checked into the resort the previous evening, was discovered near the hotel’s pool area.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed no indication of foul play, and the case remains under investigation.

This incident follows two other deaths at Walt Disney World properties in October. On October 14, 31-year-old Summer Equitz died by suicide at the same resort.

A few days later, a man in his 60s died at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground after experiencing a medical episode.

Officials have not released further details about the most recent case, and Disney representatives have declined to comment.
