Another Migrant Detention Facility Is In The Works In Florida

A third migrant detention facility dubbed the Panhandle Pokey is expected to join Alligator Alcatraz and Deportation Depot. Governor Ron DeSantis says the idea came about after he was asked about another location by law enforcement in Panama City. He says the mission continues despite a federal judge's order to halt construction and operations at "Alligator Alcatraz" over environmental concerns. He says the state isn't required to do an environmental impact study which is up to the feds.
