Man Tasered By Deputies Days After Winning Powerball Jackpot

Just days after winning the Powerball jackpot in Kentucky, a man arrested, accused of assaulting an officer in Florida.

50yo James Farthing won $167.3 million, the largest ever awarded in the state of Kentucky.

Two nights later, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office bodycam video shows Farthing attempting flee before officers used a taser on him.

The officer claiming that Farthing kicked him in the face.

Farthing is facing charges of resisting an officer with violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, and simple assault.

His girlfriend, Jaqueline Fightmaster was ultimately arrested for disorderly intoxication. Her case is closed.
