Hialeah, FL - Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was reportedly removed from a nightclub in Hialeah early Sunday morning following an alleged disturbance involving another individual.
Police say officers were dispatched to Playpen 2, located at 3890 NW 36th Street, after receiving reports of an altercation inside the venue.
When officers arrived, they discovered that Daniel Hernández, known professionally as Tekashi 6ix9ine, had been involved in a confrontation with another customer.
Both Hernández and the individual he allegedly clashed with were ejected from the club by security staff prior to police arrival.
A viral video posted online appears to show 6ix9ine in handcuffs outside the venue before officers released him without charges.
Authorities confirmed that all parties involved were uncooperative and provided limited information.
As a result, no arrests were made and everyone was released at the scene.
Police have not ruled out the possibility of reopening the case if new evidence emerges.
This latest incident follows a series of legal troubles and public controversies involving the rapper.
In January, 6ix9ine filed a $1 million lawsuit against LA Fitness, claiming the gym failed to protect him during a violent attack at their Lake Worth location in March 2023.
He was assaulted by three men in the locker room, resulting in multiple injuries.
Viral video footage from the incident showed him being kicked while on the ground, and later reentering the gym barefoot with blood visible on his face.
The three men accused in that assault, including alleged Latin Kings gang leader Rafael Medina, were arrested and charged.
The attack was widely condemned and reignited public concern over 6ix9ine’s safety, given his history of gang affiliations and cooperation with federal prosecutors in a 2018 racketeering case.
Hernández has yet to publicly comment on the incident at Playpen 2, and the nightclub has also not released an official statement.
Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with additional video or information to come forward.
