Florida is sending help to Texas as it deals with deadly flash flooding.

Governor Ron DeSantis has directed the Florida Division of Emergency Management to deploy resources to the Guadalupe River in Kerr County, which saw the worst of the flooding.

Officials say the bodies of 40 adults and 28 children have been recovered and ten children are still missing near Camp Mystic.

DeSantis says, as a result, the state is sending three swiftwater rescue teams to assist with response and recovery.

He says they're standing by to lend more help as requested.

The Florida rescue teams will arrive as the death toll continues to rise to over 80 as of Monday.
