FLORIDA - Florida continues to cement its status as the theme park capital of America, with four of its parks earning top spots in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 list of the best amusement parks in the country.
Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando remains a fan favorite, thanks to major updates debuting this year.
Visitors can look forward to the launch of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a new ride inspired by The Princess and the Frog, along with a fresh version of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree and the vibrant nighttime parade Dream the Night Away.
The resort includes four separate parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.
Also in Orlando, Universal Orlando Resort is set to open Epic Universe in summer 2025.
This fourth gate expands the resort with themed areas like Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon, Universal Monsters, and more from the Harry Potter franchise. Universal’s lineup now includes Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and Epic Universe.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay made the list as well, showcasing thrill rides alongside a new family zone called Wild Oasis.
The area includes splash pads, climbing features, and animal-themed scavenger hunts.
LEGOLAND Florida in Winter Haven rounds out the Florida entries, with its newest addition, SEA LIFE Aquarium, slated to open in May.
Florida’s dominance in theme park tourism shows no signs of slowing down, offering unmatched variety for families, thrill-seekers, and young children alike in 2025.
