FLORIDA - According to newly released rankings from Niche, Florida continues to stand out as one of the most attractive states to live in, with 13 of its communities making the list of the Best Places to Live in America for 2025.

Now in its 11th year, Niche’s annual report evaluates cities, suburbs, and neighborhoods across the country using a mix of public data and millions of reviews from residents.

The goal is to help people—from recent graduates to retirees—identify the most livable communities based on housing, public schools, diversity, safety, and quality of life.

Harbour Island, a highly rated neighborhood in Tampa, ranked No. 4 nationally and led all Florida communities.

With around 4,400 residents, Harbour Island offers an upscale urban environment with access to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and green spaces.

It attracts many young professionals and is known for its top-rated public schools.

Other Florida neighborhoods that made the top 100 include Courier City/Oscawana (No. 12), Downtown Orlando (No. 15), and Brickell in Miami (No. 66).

Tampa had a particularly strong showing with multiple neighborhoods such as Hyde Park - Spanishtown Creek (No. 36), Palma Ceia West (No. 52), and Westchase (No. 83) making the list.

Niche’s rankings draw on sources like the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Rankings also weigh local factors such as walkability, economic strength, and housing market stability.

This year’s top five best places to live include Colonial Village in Virginia, Atlantic Station in Georgia, Chesterbrook in Pennsylvania, Harbour Island in Florida, and City Center in California.
