Law enforcement training on antisemitism will be held at FAU this spring.
This as Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody's Office released the latest Hate Crimes in Florida Report, which shows a 94 percent increase in hate crimes between 2022 and 2023, with a notable hike in antisemitic incidents following the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel.
The training will focus on the presence of Hamas in the U.S. and the campus protests around the country.
The April 30th session at the FAU Boca Raton campus will educate officers with federal and state agencies.
Those interested in attending the training session should contact Gabe Groisman, Senior Advisor of the Combat Antisemitism Movement, at gg@groisman.llc for further information.
