Miami Hosts Free Christmas Tree And LED Light Giveaway Today

Miami, FL - Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) is teaming up with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade to give away 200 Christmas trees and energy-efficient LED holiday lights to local families on Tuesday.

The giveaway event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hank Kline Club, located at 2805 SW 32nd Ave., Miami.

Families are encouraged to arrive early as the trees and lights will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition to receiving a tree and lights, attendees can meet FPL energy experts who will share tips on how to reduce energy costs during the holiday season.

Participants can also enter the FPL House of Savings Challenge, where winners will receive a prize pack valued at $150.

The event is part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s efforts to spread holiday cheer while promoting energy-efficient practices.

Proceeds from additional tree sales at the club’s lot will benefit the organization’s youth programs.
