Federal prosecutors are expected to unseal a criminal indictment against New York City Mayor Eric Adams today.

The indictment likely stems from a federal corruption investigation that focuses on whether Adams campaign conspired to receive illegal contributions from the government of Turkey.

Adams, who represents more than eight million residents of New York, complained to the Biden Administration about the migrant situation in New York.

Since spring 2022, nearly 100,000 migrants have arrived in the Big Apple and Adams has called the influx unsustainable.

He says he is a "target" and "innocent" and he will fight the charges.

Sources say that the mayor is facing a charge of acting as an unregistered foreign agent after accepting donations from foreign entities.

Eric Adams will become the first sitting Mayor of New York to be charged with a crime if indeed he is.
