DeSantis Drums Up Business for Florida in Dublin as FSU Falls Short

Even though tenth ranked Florida State lost to Georgia Tech in their matchup in Dublin, Ireland, Governor Ron DeSantis scored an economic win.

DeSantis traveled to Dublin for FSU's game and also planned to drum up some business for the sunshine state.

He met with business leaders interested in opening up shop in Florida or expanding their existing footprint here.

DeSantis writes on X he "looks forward to seeing how the trade and investment opportunities that come from this trip benefit the people of Florida."

The Seminoles lost on a last-second field goal, DeSantis, meanwhile, is playing the long game.
