Actress Jennifer Aniston, who has struggled with fertility herself, says she “truly can’t believe” that Sen. J.D. Vance could become the next Vice President after hearing his comments about women who don’t have children.

The “Friends” star made a rare political dig after Vance's comments to Tucker Carlson in 2021 resurfaced. He said that the country was run by a “bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”

Aniston wrote. "All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day."

Vance referred to Vice President Kamala Harris, who is a stepmother to two children with her husband Doug Emhoff, as one of them.

Aniston took to her Instagram stories:

“I can’t believe this is coming from a potential VP of The United States,” wrote the “Morning Show” actor, who rarely makes public comments on politics. “All I can say is ... Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.”

Donald Trump's VP pick is an opponent of the Right to IVF Act, toward reproductive rights and choice.
