Michigan School Shooter's Parents Sentenced

The parents of the Michigan school shooter are each being sentenced to ten to 15 years in prison. In an historic case, James and Jennifer Crumbley were convicted in separate trials of involuntary manslaughter for the 2021 shooting deaths of four students by their son at Oxford High School, north of Detroit. It's the first time in the U.S. that the parents of a child mass shooter have been held responsible. The prosecutor's office recommended at least ten years for each. Their son pled guilty to all charges and is serving life in prison without parole.
