CLEARWATER -- Another blast of cold weather is expected in the Tampa Bay area this weekend.
Several cold-weather shelters will be open in the Bay area Saturday night, as some areas are expected to see lows in the 30's.
Pinellas County is opening several shelters in Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, Pinellas Park and St Petersburg for men and women. Hours are 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. unless otherwise noted.
- Boys and Girls Club of the Suncoast, 111 W Lime Street, Tarpon Springs.
- First United Methodist Church of Clearwater, 411 Turner Street, Clearwater
- Boys & Girls Club, 7790 61st Street North, Pinellas Park
- Northwest Presbyterian Church, 63330 54th Avenue North, St. Petersburg
- WestCare Turning Point, 1810 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg
- Unitarian Universalist Church, 100 Mirror Lake Drive North, St. Petersburg (stairs)
- Salvation Army, 1400 4th Street South, St. Petersburg, 6 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Families needing shelter should call 911.
Pasco County is opening a shelter Saturday night from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the Shady Hills Mission Chapel, on Greenglen Lane in Spring Hill.
