The stakes are expected to be higher for the second Republican presidential debate tonight. University of Miami's George Gonzalez says there are seven candidates, excluding the frontrunner --former President Donald Trump. He compares the debates to a job interview and says he has no interest.
The latest Real Clear Politics poll shows Trump is in the lead with 59-percent support, ahead of Governor Ron DeSantis at 16-percent and Nikki Haley at 7-percent.
To qualify for tonight's debate, candidates had to register at least 3-percent in two national polls, have a minimum of 50-thousand unique donors and sign a pledge committing support to the eventual nominee.
