Brightline Launches High-Speed Rail Service From Miami To Orlando

Brightline officially kicks off high-speed rail service from Miami to Orlando. Florida Atlantic University Urban Planning Professor Dr. John Renne [[Ren-knee]] calls this a win/win for tourists, residents and business travelers. Brightline is expected to reach a maximum speed of 125-miles-per-hour on the 235-mile trek which should take three-and-a-half hours as opposed to the four hours it normally takes in a car. There are sixteen daily round trips with eight hourly departures to the north and south. Single riders will be charged 158-dollars round-trip.
