Advocates Demand Answers Over Lack Of Voucher Transparency

Education advocates sending a letter to Florida Education Commissioner Manny Diaz Jr demanding more transparency over voucher distributions that have already totaled more than 410 thousand in full-time scholarships. Florida Policy Institute's Norin Dollard says the department hasn't explained how the state budget will be able to continue running if all available revenue is expended. The universal voucher program took effect July First expanding on the old program by removing the income cap and opening eligibility to all K-through-12 students.
