Hernando County Greenlights Rush Limbaugh Way

BROOKSVILLE -- Commissioners in one Florida County have unanimously approved a resolution supporting the renaming of a major highway for the late radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh. Hernando County Commissioner Jerry Campbell called Limbaugh a pioneer of talk radio.

State lawmakers voted to name a stretch of road around the county seat of Brooksville in honor of Limbaugh earlier this year. It's Cortez Boulevard from U.S. 41 to 50A.

Limbaugh lived in Palm Beach for more than two decades but it's not clear whether he ever visited Hernando County.
