Heads-up for those who travel across the Howard Frankland bridge, especially late at night or in the early morning hours. The southbound lanes of the bridge to Pinellas County will close at 11:00 tonight to allow crews to install sign structures across all lanes of I-275.
The work is part of the on-going Gateway Expressway project.
F-DOT's John McShaffrey says traffic will be diverted to the Courtney Campbell Causeway or Gandy Bridge. The bridge is set to re-open at 6:00 Tuesday morning.
