Massage parlor busted for prostitution in "Operation Chronic Pain"

Charlotte County, FL - Four women were arrested by deputies and the FBI in an undercover prostitution and human trafficking operation called "Operation Chronic Pain."

The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) teamed up with the FBI's Human Trafficking Task Force and the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) to investigate massage parlors in the area.

Four women were arrested and charged with crimes, such as battery on customers, engaging in prostitution, unlicensed activity, and committing lewd acts.

According to CCSO, the four women arrested were:

  • 48-year-old Qiangwei Dong
  • 51-year-old Ru Shui Dan
  • 65-year-old Shan Qin
  • 48-year-odl Liu Longju


The businesses that employed the four women arrested were also hit with multiple violations from the State of Florida Health Department, including unlicensed activity, sexual misconduct, criminal charges, and employees living on site.

The operation was conducted based on tips and complaints received by CCSO.
