Miami-Dade Opening More Venues Beginning Friday

Miami-Dade's downward trajectory continues with a 14-day positivity rate hovering around 5-percent. Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez says that means more things can open up starting Friday. All the venues can only open at 50-percent capacity and there will be no food or drinks allowed in movie theaters. Gimenez says he's meeting with health experts and bar owners to discuss the reopening of bars next week. Miami-Dade is also out with a new coronavirus app called Combat COVID MDC to alert you if you've come into close contact with someone who has tested positive. The county is also adding 4 more mobile testing vans to the 8 on the street beat now.
