Where folks used to shop, they can soon call home.

West Palm Beach city commissioners have approved a plan to build a 21-story high-rise, where the former Macy's was at Rosemary Square.

The building will consist of 325 residential units, with 15 percent of that being used for workforce housing, along with 34,000 square feet of retail space and 57,000 square feet of office space.

There is no set date for breaking ground on the project, which is expected to take two years once it begins.
