Sentencing Underway In Jupiter Super Bowl Triple Murder Trial

The sentencing phase of the Jupiter triple-murder trial is underway in a Palm Beach County Courtroom.

Christopher Vasata faces either life in prision without parole or the death penalty after his conviction last week for the murders of three people who were attending a Super Bowl watch party in February 2017.

Vasata was also found guilty for attempted first-degree murder and grand theft auto.

The judge has set two days aside for the sentencing phase, so it is expected to wrap up on Thursday.

One other defendant is charged with the murders of 20-year old Kelli Doherty, 24-year old Brandi El-Salhy and 26-year old Sean Henry.

Marcus Steward's trial date has not yet been set.
