There's always next year for those of you who weren't happy with the soundtrack at the Halloween party you attended last night. Billboard put together its ranking of the top "25 Biggest Halloween Songs." The ranking is based solely on chart performance on the Billboard Hot 100. That would explain why Michael Jackson's "Thriller," which peaked at number four, only ranks 25th, while sister Janet Jackson's chart-topper "Black Cat" comes in at number ten. Number-one on the Halloween list: "Monster Mash" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers.

New Yorkers can get rid of their post-Halloween Jack O'Lanterns at Hudson River Park's annual Pumpkin Smash this weekend. A choice of bat, hammer or shovel will be available and folks will have 15 minutes to break up those gourds. The city says the pieces will be composted and turned into fertilizer to help keep the park beautiful, green and growing. Afterwards, the Hudson River Park team will stick around to explain how composting works.

Elon Musk is using a Virginia street race to praise the speed and power of the Tesla Cybertruck. The tech billionaire shared a video on social media yesterday that shows a Cybertruck lining up for a street race against a Lamborghini on Leesburg Pike in Tysons. The Cybertruck powers past the sports car and maintains its lead for the duration of the short street race. Musk commented that he believes a Cybertruck could win a race against a Porsche 911 while towing another Porsche 911. Fairfax County Police were not as impressed however, saying that they were investigating the video.
