You might remember "24," the series that starred Keifer Sutherland as US counter-terrorist agent Jack Bauer. Each season covered 24 consecutive hours in Bauer's life in real time, employing split screens and a digital clock. Now comes word that a film adaptation of "24" is in early development. Variety is reporting that there are currently no details about the movie's plot or if Sutherland will return. "24" ran for nine seasons on FOX, earning 20 Emmy Awards and nearly 70 Emmy nominations.

Madonna has resumed working on her new biopic. The pop star has been working on a script for the movie since 2020 but put a hold on the film's production last year so she could go on tour. This week, Madonna shared on Instagram that she was now working on the script again. One of the photos she posted shows the film is now called "Who's That Girl," after her 1987 movie of the same name. Madonna will direct the film herself, with "Ozark" actress Julia Garner playing the lead. She says the film will follow her early years, and her "struggle as an artist trying to survive in a man's world."

A former reality star showed up at the Republican National Convention to claim her parents are the victims of political persecution. Todd and Julie Chrisley of "Chrisley Knows Best" were sent to prison last year for defrauding community banks in Georgia of over 30-million dollars by submitting fake documents. Their daughter Savannah Chrisley spoke Tuesday night at the RNC, and alleged that her family was "persecuted by rogue prosecutors in Fulton County" due to their public profile. She compared it to Donald Trump's recent conviction for falsifying records, and said the only conviction that matters is "his conviction to make America great again."
