Rock and Roll Hall of Famers the Beastie Boys are taking on Chili's Grill and Bar. They're suing Chili's for using their 1994 classic "Sabotage" in commercials without permission. Bandmember Adam MCA Yauch died in 2012 and his will forbids the use of Beastie Boys music in advertisements. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in New York last Wednesday, accuses the restaurant chain's parent Brinker International of putting out promotional videos in 2022 that used "Sabotage" and parodied its music video, which sends up 1970s crime shows.

Disney is releasing an album full of their classic songs covered by alternative-pop rock bands. It's called "A Whole New Sound" and the lead single is Simple Plan covering "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" from "The Lion King." In a statement, the members of Simple Plan said they grew up watching Disney movies with their families and now get to enjoy them with their children, so being invited to play on this album is amazing. Disney has yet to reveal the full tracklist and release date for "A Whole New Sound."

The folks at Yellowstone National Park were busy last Friday, fishing a car out of a thermal geyser. In a press release, Park Services said a car with five people inside "inadvertently" left the roadway Thursday morning and veered into the Semi-Centennial Geyser. All five people were able to exit the car and get out of the 105-degree geyser with non-life-threatening injuries. One day later, authorities closed the nearby road and lifted the car out of nine feet of water. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
