The music of a rock and roll icon from Florida will be getting new exposure. Tom Petty's estate is signing a deal to distribute the late singer's music catalog. Petty recorded more than 13 studio albums with the Heartbreakers and three solo albums over his 40-year career. The Petty Estate said in a statement that the deal with Warner Chappell Music "will open the door to new licensing opportunities."

Gru and his minions are expected to take over the box office this weekend. "Despicable Me 4" is predicted to bring in between 100-and-125-million-dollars in its first five days over the Fourth of July weekend. The animated film will hit theaters tomorrow. It will likely overtake Pixar's "Inside Out 2" which has taken the top spot at the box office in each of the three weekends since it released. "Inside Out 2" was the first movie this year to cross the one-billion-dollar mark at the box office and the fastest animated movie ever to reach that total.

Some sheriff's deputies in Colorado are making a fashion statement. Deputies in Arapahoe County have started rocking cowboy hats. Deputies wearing cowboy hats used to be common across Colorado but the last time it happened was in the early 1980s. The sheriff recently approved the new dress code, making it voluntary. But those who want to add to their uniform must buy their own hat.

Hosting a cookout this holiday weekend? Get ready to open your mouth--and your wallet. The price of a Fourth of July barbecue is higher this year. A report from the American Farm Bureau Federation puts the average cost of feeding 10 people at 71-dollars-and-22 cents. That's about three-and-a-half-bucks more than last year.

It's turning into a cruel summer for some would-be concert-goers in Europe. Swifties are being charged exorbitant prices to see Taylor Swift live in Europe this summer. Taylor Swift tickets are considerably cheaper in Europe because of strict consumer protection laws, but her shows have been selling out within minutes, leaving desperate fans relying on ticket resellers who often charge multiple times the original price. Her last three shows were this past weekend in Dublin, and resale tickets were going for nearly 800 dollars.
