The state of Florida is honoring a music icon. Yesterday, Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law a bill establishing the Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway. It'll run on SR A-One-A from Nassau County in the north to Monroe County in the Keys. It'll pass through 13 counties, including Brevard and Volusia. FDOT will put up markers by the end of August. DeSantis also signed a bill introducing a new specialty license plate for Margaritaville.

Taylor Swift is bringing more than just joy to her fans. The singer reportedly made a donation to food banks in the U.K. that generated over ten-thousand meals. Rich Jones, who manages eleven food banks in Liverpool, said Swift's contribution has allowed them to cover over twelve months of grocery bills. And Cardiff Foodbank also took to Instagram to say the donation provided a lot of relief and it was the biggest donation the organization's ever received.

We have yet another monolith. Many have been flocking to the small Colorado town of Bellvue to see a monolith that popped up on a hill. The shiny structure is over six-feet tall, about 70 miles outside of Denver. The woman who owns the land checked it out and like everyone else, is asking where it came from and who put it there. Whatever the answer, the monolith isn't going anywhere anytime soon since it's bolted into a cement pad.

The first trailer is out for a movie starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright called "Here." The film tells the 100 year story of a single house and the people that lived there throughout that time. The camera is at the same fixed angle for the entire duration of the movie without moving. "Here" hits theaters on November 15th.

July 4th is not just the birthday of the United States. Next Thursday, the Caesar Salad turns one hundred years old. The Caesar Salad was invented by an Italian chef in Mexico on Independence Day 1924. Caesar Cardini, who lived in San Diego, opened his restaurant Caesar's in Tijuana the year before to avoid prohibition in the United States. While running low on supplies over the especially busy holiday, Caesar threw together what he had left, put it over lettuce, and made it tableside, inventing the Caesar Salad we enjoy worldwide today.
