North and South Korea are engaged in a balloon war. On Wednesday, multiple sources reported that North Korea sent a fleet of balloons into South Korea. The balloons carried garbage, waste paper, and excrement. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's sister released a statement about the situation, claiming South Korean officials have urged the North to stop sending the balloons immediately, calling it "a clear violation of national law." So far, the South Korean military has reportedly found 260 balloons across the country.

A 12-year-old boy from Tampa is champion of the 2024 Scripps National Spelling Bee. Bruhat Soma won last night by surviving a lightning-round tiebreaker. Soma cemented his victory by correctly spelling his final word: abseil. a-b-s-e-i-l. It's a verb that refers to rappeling down a rock race or other vertical service. Soma gets a trophy and more than 50-thousand-dollars in cash and prizes.

The story behind the attempt to auction off Elvis Presley's Graceland mansion is getting weirder. It turns out the person behind all this may be an identity thief from Nigeria. Reportedly, a representative for Naussany Investments appears to be a scammer instead, sending an email admitting to trying to steal identities of dead people and senior citizens in the U.S. While the investigation continues, the whole plot fell apart last week when a judge postponed the proceedings for a foreclosure sale of Elvis' Memphis home.
A country superstar is returning to the road--and heading our way. Alan Jackson surprised fans yesterday by announcing a new tour. The tour is dubbed "Last Call: One More For The Road," and will include some of Jackson's biggest hits over his 30-year career. The 10-show arena run kicks off in late August and will go through May 2025. That includes a show at the Kia Center in Orlando on March 7th. Tickets for Alan Jackson go on sale June 7th.

The five bedroom, six bath Georgian-style residence, built in 1921 in the Chicago suburbs, has an asking price of five-point-two-five-million dollars. It last sold in 2012 for just under one-point-six million. The real estate firm selling the "Home Alone" house calls it a rare opportunity to own one of the most iconic movie residences in American pop culture.
