A man caused an interruption in train service for several hours in Northern California yesterday morning, after climbing power lines at the Caltrain Station in San Francisco. The man was seen on video rocking back and forth on a platform over the track, stopping train service. Commuters were told to take buses until the man eventually came down at around nine a.m.

Shane MacGowan, the frontman of the punk band the Pogues, has died. His wife announced on social media that he passed away early yesterday. A statement from the Pogues said MacGowan died peacefully with his family by his side. The Pogues' highest charting song was the 1987 Christmas hit "Fairytale of New York." Other hits for the band included "A Rainy Night in Soho" and "A Pair of Brown Eyes." Shane MacGowan was only 65.

Taylor Swift's boyfriend is being courted by another music star. Machine Gun Kelly is trying to entice Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce to play for the Cleveland Browns. The offer was revealed on the Kelce brothers' latest episode of their "New Heights" podcast, in which Machine Gun Kelly offered Kelce 500-thousand-dollars, along with 500-thousand-dollars being donated to both MGK and Kelce's former high schools, Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights, if he switched to the Browns. Kelce said that while the offer was tempting, he is happy playing for the Chiefs.

A docu-series featuring eyewitness accounts of the murder of a music legend is coming to TV. "John Lennon: Murder Without a Trial" premieres on Apple-Plus next Wednesday, December 6th. The late Beatle was shot to death by Mark David Chapman on December 8th, 1980. The trailer includes a man who says Chapman apologized to surrounding witnesses immediately after shooting Lennon. The three-part series is narrated by Kiefer Sutherland.

It's that time of year again: time for TUBA Christmas. Hundreds of tuba players will perform tomorrow afternoon at the annual TUBA Christmas concert in Ames. Iowa: Last year's concert featured 240 musicians all playing the tuba, euphonium, baritone tuba and sousaphone. The concert is free, and begins at 3pm local time.
