A social media fan group dedicated to AC/DC wants to put a classic by the band on top of the UK singles chart this Christmas. The Facebook group "AC/DC We Salute You" is launching a campaign to make "Thunderstruck". "Thunderstruck" peaked at number 13 on the UK singles chart when it was originally released in 1990. The campaign is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the band. A similar campaign in 2013 celebrating the band's 40th anniversary pushed "Highway to Hell" to number four, marking AC/DC's highest-charting single on the UK chart.

The President of the United States is getting his pop stars mixed up. A hat belonging to Napoleon Bonaparte is going up for auction. The felt chapeau is made from authentic black beaver. Historians say the iconic hat was a part of Napoleon's brand, and he wore it sideways to be more recognizable in battle. The French military commander owned over 120 similar hats throughout the years, but only around 20 are thought to still exist. This hat will be put up for auction in Paris on Sunday and is valued at around seven-hundred-thousand-dollars. And the movie Napoleon starring Joaquin Phoenix is opening in theaters this weekend.

A new "Karate Kid" film starring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan is in the works. Macchio is reprising his role as Daniel LaRusso, who he played in the original film trilogy. Chan will return as Mr. Han, a kung fu master that coached Jaden Smith's Dre Parker in the 2010 reboot. Macchio has played LaRusso in the Netflix series "Cobra Kai", although it's unclear how that story will factor in with the new film.

There's no Grammy Award category for "Best Song To Close an Album," but if there was such an award, it might go to the Beatles. The website Ultimate Classic Rock named "A Day in the Life" from "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" as its best album-closing song. The article noted in particular the 40-second-long chord that ends the song. Bruce Springsteen's "Jungleland" from "Born To Run" ranked second, followed in third place by "When the Levee Breaks" from Led Zeppelin Four. "Eclipse" from "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd was fourth and rounding out the top five was "Free Bird" from "Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd."
