People Magazine has named its Sexiest Man Alive 2023. He's Patrick Dempsey, the 57-year-old actor known for his role as Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd on the hit show Grey's Anatomy. Dempsey says he thinks it's great he's getting the honor at this point in his life. He told People that, "It's nice to have the recognition, and certainly my ego takes a little bump, but it gives me the platform to use it for something positive." For Dempsey, that's promoting the Dempsey Center, an organization he founded in honor of his late mother to help cancer patients and their families.
