It's a little late for the show, but two tickets to Ford's Theatre on the night of Abraham Lincoln's assassination have been sold at auction. They're for a performance of "Our American Cousin" on April 14th, 1865. The seats are in section D seats 41 and 42, which puts them opposite from Lincoln's balcony seats, giving them a clear view of the tragic event. The tickets were said to be in very good condition sold for 262-thousand-dollars.

It comes after the pop superstar fueled rumors she's dating Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce by showing up at Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Chiefs beat the Chicago Bears. That has Swifties wondering where she'll show up next. It could be in East Rutherford, New Jersey this Sunday as the New York Jets host the Chiefs.

Now's your chance to live like an ogre. AirBnB is offering a special two-night stay in the Scottish Highlands for fans of the hit movie Shrek. On October 13th, fans can go to Airbnb-dot-com and request to book a vacation in a replica of Shrek's swamp home. The listing is a near-exact copy of the house from the film, even down to the "Beware of Ogre" signs littered across the property. The lucky fan who wins will get a free stay in the home from October 27th to 29th. To celebrate the listing, Airbnb is also pledging to make a donation to a Scottish children's charity.
Oregon State University scientists are designing autonomous robots that will travel under ice shelves to conduct research. The U.S. National Science Foundation approved one-and-a-half million dollars to fund the work. A large "mothership" will carry a swarm of smaller passenger robots that explore under the ice in dangerous locations. They'll be able to navigate by themselves to study the melting ice sheets. Multi-robot systems exist, but this work will add the ability to communicate and sense under ice.
A tribute concert is planned for the late lead singer of Procoal Harum: Gary Brooker. The event is going down on December 4th and will also feature performances from Eric Clapton, Roger Taylor of Queen, Mike Rutherford of Genesis and more. "Remembering Gary Brooker" will be held in Guildford, England. Brooker passed away in February 2022 after a battle with cancer. He was 76.

"I started playing in the kitchen with knives today," she wrote in the caption of the video, prompting many fans to ask if she was okay. The pop icon quickly went to edit the caption on her video, saying: "Don't worry they are NOT real knives!!! Halloween is soon!" Just days before Halloween, Britney will be releasing her long-awaited tell-all memoir 'The Woman in Me'. The book is expected to hit shelves on October 24th.
