BUD'S BLOG, WEDNESDAY, MAY 10th, 2023

We'll make time in all three hours of Good Morning Orlando to talk about the quick verdict in the rape and defamation trial involving former President Trump. A New York City verdict has found Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming E-Jean Carroll nearly 30 years ago. The jury has also ordered Trump to pay Carroll roughly $5 million dollars in damages. Trump calls the verdict a disgrace, continues to say he doesn't even know Carroll, and plans to appeal.

Among my questions for you: do you think the jury got it right or not, and what impact do you think the verdict will have on Trump's campaign the 2024 presidential race. I'll give you my take and I invite you to weigh in by calling us at 407 916 5400, commenting on the text line, 23680, or recording your comments using our Talkback feature on the iHeartradio app.

At 6:22, we'll hear from Newsradio WFLA National Correspondent Erin Real with the latest on the aftermath of the verdict against Trump.

The co-founder of the Orlando Magic, Pat Williams has just made his latest pitch to bring a major league baseball franchise to Orlando and to build a pricey domed stadium down near SeaWorld. Pat's plan would require nearly a billion dollars in Orange County Tourist Development Tax money be directed away from other other major projects to fund the stadium and the make the whole deal possible. We'll discuss whether we want a major league team in Orlando, and if so, whether it would be worth the high price....or not? Let us know what you think!
