The White House is blaming Republicans on gas price increase

Let's talk about gasoline prices, which are spiking once again and hugging $3.60 for a gallon of regular at many stations in Central Florida. Who's to blame? Believe it or not, the Biden

White House is blaming Republicans, as you'll hear in one of the most outrageous sound bites we've ever played on our show! And after we hear that, I'll tell you what's going on with gas prices and who's really to blame for your pain at the pump!

I need your help trying to understand two items in the news that couldn't be more different! I'm talking about the so-called "Doomsday Clock" and the M&M "spokescandies" we see in all those TV commercials.

Scientists tell us the Doomsday Clock, a measure of the current threat of nuclear war, is now closer to midnight than it's been in 75 years, meaning the threat of nuclear war is greater than it's ever been. Really?! I was around during the Cuban Missile Crisis in the early 1960's, and trust me, nothing today compares with those frightening couple of weeks when everyone was on edge thinking nuclear war might break out at any moment between the U.S. and the Soviet Union! Someone help me understand how the Doomsday Clock can be closer to midnight now than it was back then, because I just don't buy it....do you?!

And what's the deal with the folks who make M&M's suddenly dropping all their TV commercials featuring those colorful characters known as their "spokescandies"? Apparently, the company dumped the ad campaign over a backlash triggered by FOX's Tucker Carlson, who claimed the M&M characters were "woke"! Really?!

I'll have a "Love the Gov" follow up for you! On Tuesday's show I told you about Governor DeSantis' decision to cancel a "woke" advanced placement

high school course on African-American studies because he said the cirriculum was aimed at indoctrinating students instead of educating them.

Now comes the news that the course is going to be changed, and we'll talk about it. Here's a link to a story on the latest developments that sure look

to me like victory for Governor DeSantis and his policies!:

Another day, another classified document story. This time former Vice President Mike Pence says classified documents from his time as Trump's VP have been found in his Indiana home!

Newsradio WFLA National Correspondent Rory O'Neill is on the story and joins us live with the latest.

We'll have a special Housecall from our health and medical expert Dr. Ken Kronhaus, who joins us to talk about the federal government's plans to start offering annual COVID vaccines,

in much the way we get our flu shots every year. Doc will tell us what's in the works, and he'll also talk about learning to live with COVID-19 in the years ahead and what that will involve.
