The nominations for the 2023 Academy Awards are out. Leading the way with eleven nominations is "Everything Everywhere All at Once." Tied for second most nods with nine are "All Quiet on the Western Front" and "The Banshees of Inisherin." "Elvis" is in third with eight while the Steven Spielberg directed "The Fabelmans" comes in fourth place with seven. Rounding out the top five is "Top Gun: Maverick" with six. The 95th Academy Awards take place on March 12th at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

"Air" is the name of a new movie that tells the story of the formative years of the Nike sneaker company. And the film, starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, is getting a theatrical release. Amazon Studios' "Air" will hit theaters on April 5th. Affleck will play Nike co-founder Phil Knight while Damon will play Sonny Vaccaro, the man who signed Michael Jordan to his first shoe deal. Affleck also serves as director, marking the first time he has directed Damon, his longtime friend and collaborator.

The Magic Kingdom's Splash Mountain log ride closed Sunday, and some people are now selling on eBay what they claim to be water from the ride. Containers of the alleged Splash Mountain water are listed from 25 dollars to as much as five thousand dollars. One seller writes, 'you can almost smell the bromine solution.'

A new study finds some A-list pop artists have the best music to fall asleep to. Researchers in Denmark analyzed nearly 226-thousand tracks from nearly one-thousand playlists related to sleep. While most of the music featured was softer, slower, and instrumental, there was some diversity with higher energy songs. Some tracks that stood out included "Lovely" by Billie Eilish and Khalid as well as "Dynamite" by BTS. The researchers theorized the more upbeat songs relaxed listeners with their familiarity, but more study is needed
