Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Orlando Cyber Crime Task Force said Friday they arrested a local man, identified as Michael Jonathan Holmes, on 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
Holmes, according to agents, is a registered sex offender based on a lewd and lascivious conviction in 2003.
In December 2016, investigators say Holmes was arrested for possession of child pornography.
According to court records, Holmes had been out on bond awaiting his trial, which is scheduled for February 5.
An FDLE release says that, after receiving a tip that an online storage service was used to upload images of child pornography, FDLE agents began an investigation.
The release notes that the investigation showed that an IP address associated with Holmes was used to upload the images.
Agents say two digital devices were seized during the execution of a search warrant and will be further analyzed to extract the contents.
Incident records show Holmes was taken to the Orange County Jail on a no-bond status.
