Hurricane Irma Causes 3 Fatalities In South FL

Hurricane Irma has already caused three fatalities in South F, an update to the previously reported one. 

A Monroe County man was killed after tropical-storm winds caused him to lose control of a truck carrying a generator, according to officials. 

Two other people, including a sheriff's deputy, died in a Hardee County car crash. The sheriff's deputy, now identified as Julie Bridges, was a 13-year veteran of the Hardee County police force.

The death toll from Caribbean has risen to 22, bringing the total fatality number for Hurricane Irma to at least 25.
